Welcome to the official website of Rich Parsons. An established songwriter, Rich began writing songs in 1993 as part of his first band, Prozak, which went on to produce two albums and perform over 200 liveshows. Since going solo in 2000, Rich has gradually built up a new collection of original songs due for recording and production soon. These songs stretch back to his first brave attempts in 1993 through to more recent reflections and views on the various perceptions and outlooks on life. Be it the rocking tempo of past crowd favourite "Recognition", the marching band style drill of "Working Out A Way" or the humbling wrong turns expressed in "This Something", you will be sure to find some melodies or catchy choruses to strike a rebellious chord or send a chill down your spine.
Career Biography:

About the Solo Artist:
An evening of entertainment with Rich is one to last long in the memory. Frustrated at the sheer volume and similarity of cabaret acts and one tone DJs on the circuit, Rich threw the rulebook out the window and from listening to his audience, no performance can be the same as its predecessor. Using an effective combination of his own talents or backing tracks, Rich has a wide repertoire from all genres and eras from the 1950s and 60s to recent chart hits.
From clubs and pubs to open back lorries and boat marinas, Rich has adjusted to all requirements, conditions and climates! Weddings, functions, launches, fairs, festivals, promotions and special occasions are well catered for, with requests and dedications no problem. Rich can fit into any time slot and can now provide a supporting disco DJ set either side of his liveshow for the complete night out. Due to his willingness to take requests, lock-ins and crowd sing-a-longs at 4am are not uncommon if the night gets carried away! At selected shows, feel free to look through the songbooks and submit your favourites on the request slips, like a guitar style jukebox.
